It’s not just the coffee, it’s the cortisol. ☕️📉

Ever feel like you’re doing everything ‘right’ but your body is playing by a new set of rules? If you’ve noticed that stubborn midsection shift or a sudden drop in your afternoon fuse, you aren’t losing your mind, you’re likely meeting perimenopause.

As a nurse and a busy mom, I know the drill. We push through the stress, skip the sleep, and expect our hormones to just keep up. But when cortisol stays high, your body holds on tight (hello, mom pooch) and leaves you feeling drained instead of driven.

Biohacking your health in your 30s and 40s isn't about more gym time; it’s about working with your biology, not against it. It’s about calming the nervous system so your hormones can finally find their rhythm again. You deserve to feel magnetic and quietly optimized, not just ‘functional.’

Ready to find your second wind and get that glow back? Let’s talk about simple ways to reset your baseline and stop the slump.

The clinical hat is officially on the hook.

There’s a specific kind of exhale that happens on a Friday evening when the shift ends and the mental tabs of being a nurse, business owner, and mom finally start to close. This week has been a beautiful blur of wellness drips and family logistics, but tonight? Tonight is for the quiet.

Being a nurse-preneur means I’m usually thinking three steps ahead, but the weekend is my reminder to stay right here. It’s about trading the stethoscope for a slow dinner and a moment of genuine rest. We talk a lot about hydration and health at the lounge, but finding peace is just as vital for your well-being.

I’m leaning into the stillness tonight so I can show up fully for my family and my faith tomorrow. Grace for the week behind us, and rest for the days ahead.

What does your Friday night reset look like?

Friday mornings hit a little different. It’s that sweet transition point where the business brain starts to quiet down and the mom-and-wife heart takes the lead. I’m trading the clinical checklists for slow moments and being fully present with my crew.

There’s so much joy in the simple things: a quiet house before the kids wake up, a hot cup of coffee, and just being still. I’m leaning into the peace today and feeling thankful for the week we’ve had. Let’s head into the weekend with clear minds and happy hearts.

People always ask how I keep the "glow" while running a wellness center and a household. Truth? The glow isn’t from a perfect schedule: it’s from finding peace in the middle of the beautiful mess.

One minute I’m in full clinical mode at , thinking about micronutrients and patient care, and the next I’m pivoting to “mom mode,” hunting down missing socks and prepping for the school run. It’s a wild, God-blessed juggle, and some days I’m definitely just holding it together with a prayer and an extra shot of espresso.

Being a nurse-preneur means my brain never really turns off, but I’ve learned that the most magnetic version of myself isn’t the one who has it all figured out. It’s the one who shows up, does the work, and remembers to breathe through the chaos.

Whether you’re in the clinic or the carpool lane today, just know you’re doing a great job. That second wind is coming, I promise. ✨

Who said biohacking was just for the tech bros in Silicon Valley? 🙅‍♀️

As a nurse and a mom, my version of "optimized living" doesn't involve a 3 AM ice bath or a dozen gadgets. It looks more like catching those first morning rays of sun while the house is still quiet, or getting a quick nutrient boost to navigate the afternoon carpool lane without that dreaded 3 PM slump. ☕️☀️

We’re moving past the "hustle" and stepping into high-sailing energy. It’s about that quiet, healthy glow and feeling noticeably more magnetic because you’re actually fueled, not just caffeinated.

Happy Sunday! Taking a moment today to reset and ground myself before the Monday madness kicks in. It’s the small, intentional habits that keep us feeling like the queens of our own chaos. You deserve to feel as good as you look. ✨🙌

Entering my “Beta Mom” era and honestly? The view is better from here. ☕️✨

We’ve all been conditioned to think biohacking means 5 AM ice baths and 12-step supplement routines. But as a nurse and a mom, I’ve realized the ultimate hack is actually doing less.

Welcome to Type B Biohacking. It’s about high-sailing energy without the high-stress hustle. It’s choosing the restorative drip over that desperate fourth espresso. It’s realizing that finding your “second wind” doesn’t have to mean running yourself into the ground first.

I’m trading the afternoon slump for a quiet glow and a bit of peace. When we’re optimized and rested, we’re magnetic: not just busy. It’s that quietly-expensive feeling of actually having your life together without having to shout about it.

Who else is ready to opt out of the chaos and into a little more flow this Thursday?

Make a confident splash this swimsuit season 💦✨ As a nurse and a mom, I know that swimsuit season can sometimes feel like just another thing to manage. But what if it was actually about celebrating how far you’ve come? True confidence isn’t about perfection; it’s about that quietly optimized feeling you get when your body and soul are in sync. When you have that high-sailing energy and your metabolism is actually working with you, not against you, walking toward the pool feels a lot more like a victory lap. 🥂 We’re helping you find that second wind at so you can stop hiding behind the cover-up and start leaning into your glow. You deserve to feel magnetic, healthy, and completely present in these moments with your family. Let’s trade the 'slump' for a splash. Who’s ready to feel their best this summer? ☀️🌿

People often ask why I still keep my scrubs close while building this business. The truth is, I’m a nurse at my core before I’m anything else in the professional world.

When I started IV Liquid Lounge, it wasn’t just about creating a space for wellness: it was about bringing clinical precision and a nurse’s heart to an industry that sometimes forgets the "care" in healthcare. Being a nurse, a wife, and a mom means I understand the daily exhaustion of "doing it all." I stayed in nursing because that clinical foundation is what keeps your wellness journey safe and effective. It’s about the peace of mind knowing someone who understands the science is looking out for you.

It’s Thursday morning, and as I balance the chaos of family life and business growth, I’m reminded that precision matters. You deserve more than just a service; you deserve care that’s backed by experience and a focus on your long-term health.

Grateful for this journey and for the chance to serve you all with a bit of that nurse-preneur spirit.

Thursday morning reality: The "Type B" hustle is in full swing. ☕️✨

If you’re currently trading your high-speed productivity for a cozy knit sweater and a second (okay, third) cup of coffee, you’re in good company. As a nurse, mom, and entrepreneur, I’ve learned that some mornings are for the high-intensity grind, and some are for finding that quiet "second wind" before the day truly takes off.

I’m leaning into the glow today: the kind that comes from a little extra grace and a lot of intentionality. It’s about staying optimized and feeling energized without the frantic energy of the typical work week. Just because the pace is slower doesn't mean the progress isn't happening.

Finding peace in the middle of a busy schedule is my favorite kind of status symbol. It’s that quietly expensive feeling of being in control of your energy instead of letting it control you. Who else is navigating the Thursday morning slump with a side of quiet confidence? 🤍

There is something so holy about the quiet of a Lake Wylie sunrise before the world wakes up. 🌅

Happy Tuesday! As a nurse, wife, and mom, my days are usually a beautiful mix of chaos and coffee. But these few minutes? This is where I find my peace. It’s that deep breath before the "mom, where are my shoes?" and the "can you check this chart?" begins.

Taking this time to ground myself is how I keep that high-sailing energy all day long. No afternoon slump allowed here. Just a grateful heart and a clear mind ready to serve my family and my clients.

If you’re feeling like you’re running on empty, remember that you can’t pour from an exhausted soul. Find your moment, breathe in the grace, and let’s get after it.

Come see us at when you're ready to find your second wind. 🤍

The hump day hustle is real, but so is the need for a deep exhale. 🌿

By Wednesday evening, the mental tabs are usually overflowing. Between the shifts, the school runs, and just “mom-ing” in general, our nervous systems can feel a little stuck in overdrive.

Tonight is about that quiet reset. It’s the intentional pause to tell your body it’s safe to soften. Whether it’s a warm tea, a few minutes of stillness, or just cozying up in your favorite knit hat, give yourself permission to power down.

Finding that second wind doesn't always mean doing more: sometimes it means doing nothing at all. Let’s trade the frantic pace for a little peace tonight. 🕯️

You can’t pour from an empty cup, and you certainly can’t lead well if you’re running on fumes. Take the moment. You’ve earned the rest.
