A routine skin screening caught it early.

On Friday, Panthers Head Coach Dave Canales shared that an annual skin screening led to the early detection of a small spot of basal cell skin cancer. He underwent treatment and used the opportunity to remind others to prioritize their skin health.

We’re grateful for his willingness to share his experience and for the trust placed in Dr. Munavalli and the DLVSC team.

Skin cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer, but when detected early, treatment can often be more straightforward and effective.
