Join us this Saturday from 5:30-6:30pm for the opening reception of Melody Hogan's newest series "Audible Images". Themes of faith, inspiration and hope run deep through Melody’s artwork.

“Painting has become like breathing for me. When I’m not painting, I can still smell it...and feel it’s texture…the way it flows from my brush or palette knife. I get cranky when I don’t make it into the studio regularly. It’s become more than something I just do. It’s become a part of who I am."

In the past 10 years she has painted hundreds of paintings. She even challenged herself to two painting marathons where she committed to completing a painting every day for 100 days in 2009, and then 50 paintings in 50 days in 2011.

Her artwork has been featured in a variety of venues around the Charlotte area, and we are honored to welcome her to the Evening Muse for the month of June!
