The people who allow themselves to FEEL their emotions always tend to have the biggest and fastest shifts and the biggest breakthroughs in their lives. There is a direct correlation.

Feeling the uncomfortable and painful emotions (with proper resources to not get stuck in them) is directly related to healing and feeling better.

This is experientially and anecdotally what I’ve witnessed over the last decade of doing thousands of subconscious sessions (hypnotherapy, breathwork, Hypno-Breathwork, inner child, somatic, emotional release, etc).

This past weekend I had the honor of joining as a facilitator at the MK (Missionary Kids) Retreat hosted by MKs Mary Crutchfield, PMHNP and Moonjuice Grows .k.

Wow what an incredible group of humans! It was such a gift to sit beside them, to get to know them, and to hold space for them.

Some of them experienced a significant amount of trauma and religious/spiritual abuse at the hands of adults who were entrusted to care for them, often “in the name of God / Jesus.”

There was also the unique difficulties of having lived and grown up in several countries, moving many times without ever really putting down “roots,” and never feeling as if they truly belonged anywhere.

The theme of this retreat was joy and belonging, which I believe they found.

They also released a significant amount of pain and trauma via Go Within™ Hypno-Breathwork and other mind-body modalities.

I bow in gratitude for the opportunity to do this crucial work in the world.

Thank you Mary + Moon for showing up for yourselves and turning around to help others do the same.

Thank you Ashley for the amazing food + nourishment you offered.

Last weekend we gathered in the mountains of NC for our Go Within™ Hypno-Breathwork Level 1 Cohort Retreat.

There were Hypno-Breathwork practitioners from 7 different cohorts who traveled from Canada and multiple states including Texas, California, Maryland, Tennessee, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

There were practitioners who are in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s (!).

Their backgrounds span many careers such as nurses, doctors, yoga teachers, massage therapists, cranial sacral therapists, midwives, and corporate team leaders.

As always, the Go Within Hypno-Breathwork practitioners never cease to amaze me. The level of healing, reclamation, and liberation that transpires in these retreats is awe inspiring.

I am so proud of these practitioners and the work they are doing 1) within themselves, 2) within their families by doing the work, and 3) with their clients and patients.

I am so grateful and honored that I get to do this work in the world.

I have made many mistakes in my life and I am always learning. But I must have done something right to be able to do this sacred work in the world.

This was the 20th retreat I have led and/or co-led over the last 5 years.

Over the last 10 years I have attended and/or facilitated a total of 41 retreats. I love being in these spaces so much and this is something that lights me up!

There is something miraculous that happens within the group field and when witnessing and being witnessed, that creates exponential healing for all. ✨✨✨
