After a long day of cycling, the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi like to wind down and enjoy the company of new friends at Friendship Visits. Each stop brings new smiles, laughs and connections that will be remembered for a lifetime. As crew and cyclists continue making an impact in communities along their routes, they always make time to drop a few moves with the people who remind them why they ride.

Journey of Hope TransAmerica 2026 - Day 1-5

The TransAm route of the a Journey of Hope has been on the road for over a week, making their way across the state of Washington.

Along the way the cyclists and crew have had friendship visits with many organizations, given out grants, and conquered Mount Rainier. Follow along with the journey here!

Pi Kappa Phi brothers showed up in seven states this April, making a meaningful impact through Ability Camps and reaffirming our commitment to championing the abilities of all people.

While the projects completed leave a lasting mark on camp communities, the relationships built with campers and staff are what make the experience truly unforgettable. Journey of Hope TransAmerica has offically begun! 🚲

Today, 23 Pi Kappa Phi cyclists and crew members rolled out of Seattle, Washington, to begin a nearly 4,500-mile ride across the country. Through Friendship Visits and community engagement, they’ll raise awareness for people with disabilities while creating meaningful connections along the way.

Follow their journey over the next three months as they grow, one mile at a time.
