Meet the men behind the mission. The Gear Up Florida crew kept the summer moving from start to finish, making sure riders stayed safe, routes were prepared, stations were ready and every day on the road ran smoothly.

Along the way, they gained leadership experience, built lifelong friendships and helped share the story of The Ability Experience in communities across Florida.

What began as a cycling trip has become a journey that changes lives, including their own. While the ride raises awareness for The Ability Experience, some of the most meaningful moments happen off the bikes at Friendship Visits across Florida.

Whether painting, sharing meals, dancing or simply spending time together, these men are building friendships, creating conversations and gaining a deeper understanding of what it means to champion the abilities of all people. Each stop brings new perspectives, lasting memories and moments that leave an impact on everyone involved, from cyclists and crew members to Friendship Visit partners and the communities they serve.

Their journey is about more than the miles completed. It is about the difference they make at every stop and the growth that comes from serving something bigger than themselves.

510 miles down and the impact keeps growing!

Cycling may be the most visible part of Gear Up Florida, but the miles are only part of the story. The men of Gear Up Florida are carrying forward a legacy built by more than 750 Pi Kappa Phi men since 1997. What began as a cycling trip has become a journey that changes lives, including their own.

Every mile ridden across the Sunshine State helps raise awareness for The Ability Experience and opens the door for meaningful conversations about inclusion and accessibility. While the journey on the road is powerful, some of the most impactful moments happen when the bikes are parked. We can't wait to share those stories next.
