NCATA BEACON is excited to host our next Can We Talk discussion focused on innovation in resource-limited healthcare.
Athletic trainers are uniquely positioned to help bridge gaps in healthcare, but providing quality care with limited resources comes with its own set of challenges. Whether you practice in a rural community, work in an underfunded school or organization, or simply want to better understand the realities many athletic trainers across North Carolina face, this conversation is for you.
We’re excited to welcome Hannah M. Alston, MS, LAT, ATC, Joe Mullis, MEd, LAT, ATC, and Garrie Storie, MS, LAT, ATC as our featured panelists. Each brings valuable firsthand experience working in resource-limited athletic training settings and will share practical insights, challenges, and innovative solutions from their unique perspectives.
Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the conversation by sharing their own experiences, ideas, and strategies. Together, we’ll explore topics such as maximizing available resources, building meaningful community partnerships, fostering innovation in patient care, and supporting athletic trainers practicing in resource-limited environments.
We hope you’ll join us for this engaging conversation and leave with new ideas, connections, and practical strategies you can apply in your own setting.
