Deana could brighten any room. Her son, James, told us she could make any dark or gloomy situation better because of her positive attitude. He said Deana passed along her optimism and strength to all who knew her.

In her spare time, Deana loved to help others however she could. She also enjoyed listening to Rascal Flatts and found it therapeutic.

Deana saved 2 lives through organ donation. She will also impact many lives through her tissue donation. If you want us to highlight your donor hero, you can nominate them at LifeShareCarolinas.org/Donor-Families/Honoring-Donors/

Terry brought people together and kept them together. His daughter, Tina, told us he loved his family and loved his friends like they were family. She said her dad always saw the good in others and would do anything he could to help them.

In his spare time, Terry rode four-wheelers and worked on vehicles in his shop. But most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. He gave 2 people the gift of sight through eye donation. If you want us to highlight your donor hero, you can nominate them at LifeShareCarolinas.org/Donor-Families/Honoring-Donors/

Like most 4-year-olds, Sofia was excited for her birthday party. But unlike other kids, Sofia didn't have a big party. She celebrated in the hospital where she's waiting for a lifesaving heart transplant đŸ’™đŸ«€đŸ’š

Amber became a mother just 3 weeks before she passed. Her mother, Janice, loved watching Amber with her baby and believes she would’ve become the best mom. She told us Amber loved to take selfies with her daughter, who was Amber’s "mini-me."

Janice misses the trips she and Amber took. She also misses just texting with her daughter. In her spare time, Amber loved to sing and sleep. Amber will impact many lives through the gift of tissue donation. If you want us to highlight your donor hero, you can nominate them at LifeShareCarolinas.org/Donor-Families/Honoring-Donors/

Loretta was known for helping others. Her daughter, Louise, told us even if she was upset with you, she’d still be there to help. She says her mom was loved everyone and was loved by everyone.

Loretta loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They all miss her deeply. To this day, Louise’s son still asks where his “Maw maw” is. In her spare time, Loretta enjoyed cooking, working on the crossword, buying scratch-off tickets, and spending time with her “fur babies.”

Loretta’s organs were going to be donated, but sadly, couldn’t be transplanted. Because she said “yes” to donation, we’re proud to call her a “Donor in Spirit.” If you want us to highlight your donor hero, you can nominate them at LifeShareCarolinas.org/Donor-Families/Honoring-Donors/

Ken wasn’t only a father; he was a mentor and friend. His daughter, Karla, said she could always turn to him for advice. Others who knew Ken shared with Karla how they felt the same and could always count on his friendship.

He was into genealogy and uncovered a lot of information about his family history. He traveled while working for the FAA and Karla says he enjoyed seeing the beauty the US has to offer. He loved to cheer for his favorite sports teams, the Chargers, Padres, and University of Houston’s women’s volleyball team.

Ken will impact many lives through the donation of his tissue and gave someone the gift of sight through eye donation. If you want us to highlight your donor hero, you can nominate them at LifeShareCarolinas.org/Donor-Families/Honoring-Donors/
