Each Wednesday, we’ll recognize and celebrate team members who are marking a work anniversary with us. It’s our way of saying thank you for the dedication, compassion, and hard work they bring to our residents and team every day.

✨ What a fantastic night at Nurses’ Night Out last night! ✨

Members of the Charlottesville Health & Rehab team enjoyed an evening of networking, community connections, and celebrating the healthcare professionals who make a difference every day. Our Admissions, Discharge Planning, and Recreation teams were proud to represent our facility at this wonderful event.

A special congratulations to our very own Admissions Coordinator, Courtney, who won concert tickets during the evening! 🎟️🎉 Her excitement says it all!

Thank you to Hot 101.9, Outback Steakhouse, and everyone involved in making Nurses’ Night Out such a memorable and successful event. We are grateful for opportunities like these to connect with our healthcare community and strengthen partnerships throughout the Charlottesville area.

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month! 💜🧠
Bingo is more than just a game—it’s a fun way to keep the brain active and engaged! As residents listen for numbers, scan their cards, stay focused, and interact with friends, they’re exercising important cognitive skills such as attention, memory, processing speed, and concentration.
Just as important, bingo brings people together. The laughter, conversation, excitement, and social connections created during a game all contribute to overall well-being and support healthy aging.
Yesterday, our residents enjoyed an afternoon of friendly competition, brain exercise, and plenty of smiles. Sometimes the best activities are the ones that keep both our minds and our spirits engaged.

🇺🇸 Yesterday, we honored and remembered the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Memorial Day is more than cookouts and the start of summer — it is a time to reflect on the heroes who gave their lives protecting our freedom.
Here at Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center, we paused to remember their courage, sacrifice, and service. ❤️🤍💙

Charlottesville is proud to support our employees by ensuring our facility is up to date. We recently invested $14,000 into our water flow systems to create the safest environment for our residents and employees. Meet Seth, our Maintenance Director, who keeps our facility in great shape! 🔧🔥

Not only does he keep everything running smoothly around the building, but he is also our unofficial Grill Master and one of the biggest supporters of resident and staff morale. Seth is always willing to jump in, help out, and make every event more fun with his humor and energy.

From winning our Men’s Beauty Pageant to taking home the crown in the Pup Show Pageant with his beloved dog, Arlo 🐾, Seth keeps the laughs coming and the building lively every single day.

We are lucky to have such a hardworking, hilarious, and genuinely great guy on our team. Thank you, Seth, for everything you do!
