We’ve got something for every body and every stage — prenatal and postpartum yoga, Baby & Me barre, toddler and family yoga classes. And yes, Hannah Crosby is bringing popsicles to Saturday’s prenatal class. 🧊

Sunday’s Working Moms Meet-up wraps up the weekend at 11:30 with coffee, tea, snacks, and real conversation.

Meet Dee of Sunnyside Counseling — one of the incredible providers now calling Kindred Mind Collective home.

Dee is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting women through anxiety, big feelings, and the long work of finding themselves again. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a healthy dose of realness to every session — the kind of therapist who makes it feel a little easier to open up.
At the heart of her work is connection. She creates space where you feel seen, valued, and genuinely understood. Not a perfect, polished version of you. Just you.

If you’ve been waiting for the right person to talk to, she might be it.

Visit Dee at sunnysidecville.com, and meet the rest of the Kindred Mind Collective at kindredcville.com/kindredmind.

Happy Pride Month from the Kindred village.

This month, we’re holding space for every LGBTQIA family and the unique journey it took to get here. The longer roads. The extra paperwork. The systems that weren’t built for you. The profound love on the other side of all of it.

Swipe through for a look at some of the real experiences LGBTQIA families navigate on the path to parenthood — and a few local resources if you or someone you love needs support.

We see you. We celebrate you. 🌈

We’ve been nominated for TWO Best of C-VILLE awards, and honestly? This one means a lot.

Kindred exists because of you. The parents who showed up exhausted and left feeling a little more held. The ones who found their people in a prenatal yoga class or a postpartum support circle. The families who kept coming back. This nomination belongs to all of you.

And we couldn’t let this moment pass without also celebrating Kelly Cox, who has been nominated for Best Wellness Coach. Kelly’s wisdom, experience, and support have shaped so many journeys through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, including our own. If she has touched your life too, we hope you’ll take a moment to vote for her as well.

Voting is open June 1 through June 30, once per email address. The link is in our bio. If Kindred has meant something to you this year, we’d be so honored by your vote for Best Yoga Studio and/or Best Wellness Center.

Pregnancy and parenthood are beautiful. They’re also one of the most significant emotional shifts a person can move through.

1 in 5 people experience mental health challenges during pregnancy or postpartum. 75% never get the support they need. A physical space changes that. It says: this is normal. You are not broken for needing support.

That’s why we created the Kindred Mind Collective — a space inside Kindred where independent mental health providers come together to support individuals, couples, and groups through pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, and midlife.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing you to the incredible practitioners joining this space. Follow along!

Mental health care belongs here. And we’re just getting started.

The days are getting longer. The energy is shifting. And sometimes the most intentional thing you can do is pause before you step into what’s next.

Threshold is a seasonal ceremony for transition, guided by Alicia Henry. We’ll gather with herbal tea, meditation, group reiki, and gentle somatic movement. An hour and a half to arrive, to soften, to meet the season with presence.

We’re continuing our teacher spotlight series with the lovely Lucy Carter! 🤍 Lucy is the heart behind our Barre Baby & Me classes and your barre bestie through every step of the postpartum journey.

And great news: Barre Baby & Me is back for June, starting Saturday, June 6th. Come meet Lucy on the mat.

Here is more from Lucy:

I started teaching yoga and fitness classes in 2017, and prenatal yoga has always been close to my heart. I wanted to wait until I had experienced pregnancy myself before teaching it, so I could truly feel those changes in my own body. After having my son, I jumped at the chance to train with Kelly Cox and never looked back. Being a mom is a wonderful and wild ride, full of highs and lows, and I often wished I had more support during my own pregnancy and postpartum period. That’s what drives me. I want to be a real resource for other moms and families, showing up with fun, energy, and thoughtful movement for every trimester and beyond. In my classes you can expect intentional flows, lots of laughs, and a space where you and your baby are truly seen. Have questions about abdominal birth? Reach out anytime.
