Some people may not understand so let me explain. If you look at all the beauty supply stores where you shop, you will notice that NONE of them are owned by black people. This isn't because we don't want to open beauty supply stores. It is because we have been intentionally boxed out of the industry by wholesalers and suppliers who make millions of our Black dollars and contribute nothing to our communities. Queena's Beauty Supply is SO important to our area because not only are there limited places for us to buy hair care products, there are NOOOOOO black owned places. We are working hard to change this and bring a business to the area that serves the community while breaking the normal flow of us putting our money in the hands of people who don't care about or invest in us!
