It's quiet here inside Ashara today, home of Perimenopause Massage Therapy & Ayurveda. Perhaps that's because today is Juneteenth, the day we celebrate the emancipation of the last enslaved people in Texas. This emancipation was not too long ago and the experience, like all historical experiences, lives in the DNA of their descendants.
In Ayurveda, we consider health history, cultural influences, and what we call 'satmya' or acclimated lifestyle, as part of your health experience. Everything is tailored to you.
Today, just a few Ayurveda clients have trickled in. One came in to pick up her herbs for the month. Two others, both males, visited for very specific concerns. One came for a regular abdominal massage with local steam application, called 'nadi sved', pronounced like 'swayed', for gut health.
Another received a soothing head massage with balaguluchyadi tailam, a wonderful head massage oil, to calm the mind. This second client, with additional complaints of sharp pain in his deltoid, also received a topical herbal paste application of jatamayadi churnam, to help calm the inflammatory pain response.
Everything is personalized here according to your experience of life. [Pic of an Indian-style Ayurvedic massage table for visual interest.] Come visit for a Free 30-Min Consultation. Book here: https://perimenopausemassageayurveda.com/book
