June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, support families, and honor those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. 💜

We understand the emotional journey that memory loss can bring for both patients and their loved ones. Our team is committed to providing compassionate care, comfort, and guidance every step of the way.

This month, we encourage our community to learn more, support caregivers, and help spread awareness about brain health and dementia care.

You are not alone. 💜

🌺 The 2026 National Skilled Nursing Care Week theme, “Moments in Bloom,” honors the meaningful connections, compassionate care, and everyday victories shared within skilled nursing communities. Established in 1967 by the American Health Care Association (AHCA), this annual week-long observance recognizes the vital role skilled nursing centers play in supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities. 🌼

🌻We are especially grateful for the dedication of skilled nursing professionals who nurture comfort, dignity, and quality of life for those entrusted to their care. Thank you to our skilled nursing care community for your partnership in caring for our residents and patients! 💐

💚 The Power of Nurses 💚

This Nurses Week, we celebrate the extraordinary strength, compassion, and dedication of nurses—especially those who walk alongside patients and families during life’s most meaningful moments.

At hospice, nursing is more than a profession—it’s a calling. It’s found in the quiet reassurance of a handheld, the dignity preserved in every act of care, and the unwavering presence during both the hardest and most sacred times.

To our incredible hospice nurses: thank you for the comfort you bring, the trust you build, and the lives you touch every single day. Your impact goes far beyond medicine—you bring peace, humanity, and heart into every home you enter.

And to nurses everywhere in our communities: we see you, we appreciate you, and we honor the power you carry.

Happy Nurses Week. 💚

Part of our Interdisciplinary Team, learn about our Chaplains and Bereavement Coordinators.

While chaplains offer spiritual counseling and emotional support to both active and bereaved patients and families, bereavement coordinators focus on planning and implementing programs to support families for up to 13 months after the patient's passing.

Together, they ensure our hospice concepts, philosophy, and goals are upheld with compassion and care.
