Yep — I’m not just an FNP. I’m a certified strength training coach for women, with a specialty in the perimenopause and menopause years. And there’s a reason I lace up for this season specifically.
Between 35 and 55 is when our bodies start whispering (then shouting) about muscle. Estrogen shifts, and suddenly the things that used to work… don’t. Strength training is one of the few things that talks back to that change, it protects your bones, steadies your blood sugar, and reminds your body it’s still strong as hell.
