Thank you to everyone who attended the new grad social last night! It was an honor to celebrate you, new graduates! Thank you to those who took the time to speak at the event and encourage not only the new graduates, but even our experienced APRNs with your wisdom and anecdotes.

Thank you to Hope for the Inner City, who allowed us to use their venue for free and coordinated the lovely dinner that was provided. Their organization provides valuable resources to those in the community who need them most of all. You can learn more about them here: https://www.wearehfic.org/

If you weren't able to make it this year, that's ok! This is an annual event and we encourage you to keep your eye out come spring of 2027 for the next new grad social - it's only getting bigger and better each year!

There are still plenty of openings for tomorrow's meeting! Register on the CANAP website if you'd like to attend.

Registration closes in 5 DAYS for our Second Annual New Grad Social!

We have several outstanding nurse practitioners lined up to speak at the event on Monday, May 18. Our speakers include:

Nicole Montgomery, Professor, DNP, and Certified Health Coach
Roxanne Bennett, CANAP President, Clinician, Educator, and Entrepreneur

It's time!

We are excited to welcome all CANAP members to our 2026 New Grad Social. Although it is an event to celebrate our December 2025/May 2026 APN graduates, we encourage already-established APNs and students to attend. This free event includes dinner, fellowship, networking, raffles, and more! CANAP members are also encouraged to bring a non-CANAP APN or APN student with them.

Last year's event was a great time and huge success. If you are interested in attending this year's, please register yourself and your guest (if applicable):

The new grad event last year was such a great time that we are making it an annual tradition! Please save the date for this year's new grad social on May 18th, 2026. This is a great opportunity to meet your colleagues in the community, celebrate your accomplishments, and hear some sage advice on interviewing, negotiating, and more from seasoned nurse practitioners.
While this event is targeted towards new graduate APNs, we still welcome and encourage current students and established APNs to attend as well.
Details on exact time and location will follow soon!

Please welcome Janet Tran, FNP student, to CANAP! We are so glad to have you ❤️
