CANAP is committed to supporting and fostering the role of the APRN The group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at a different venue.

It is sponsored in part by a pharmaceutical group to educate those in attendance about new developments in the treatment of patients in primary care. To be able to attend you must be a registered member of the organization. See the Website for information.

🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 CE and Student Scholarship recipients, Grace and Megan! 🎉

Both Grace and Megan demonstrate an incredible passion for their specialties, exemplifying what it means to be exceptional nurse practitioners and lifelong learners.

This year’s scholarship cycle was especially competitive, with more than 12 outstanding applications! We are grateful to everyone who took the time to apply and share their commitment to advancing their education and professional growth.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2026 2nd Annual Clinical Connections CME event. Attendees were given updates on a broad range of topics by leading experts in our community, all while connecting with other professionals in the area.

We sincerely appreciate our co-hosts, One-to-One Health, University Surgical Associates, Galen Medical Group, and Tennessee Oncology for making this event possible.

Our first July meeting is coming up in just one week! This meeting is currently FULL. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration as we do have several members waiting for a spot on the waitlist. We can't wait to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who attended the new grad social last night! It was an honor to celebrate you, new graduates! Thank you to those who took the time to speak at the event and encourage not only the new graduates, but even our experienced APRNs with your wisdom and anecdotes.

Thank you to Hope for the Inner City, who allowed us to use their venue for free and coordinated the lovely dinner that was provided. Their organization provides valuable resources to those in the community who need them most of all. You can learn more about them here: https://www.wearehfic.org/

If you weren't able to make it this year, that's ok! This is an annual event and we encourage you to keep your eye out come spring of 2027 for the next new grad social - it's only getting bigger and better each year!
