The scale went up 5 pounds.

Most people would see that number and think they failed.
But in the last 8 weeks, this client:
⬆️ 6.9 lbs of muscle
⬇️ 7.3 lbs of body fat
⬇️ 3.9% in body fat percentage
⬆️ 9 lbs of total body water (a sign of more muscle and improved metabolic health)
⬆️ 11 points on her InBody score

This is why we don’t obsess over the scale- it only tells you how much you weigh.

It doesn’t tell you how much stronger you’ve become.
It doesn’t tell you how much muscle you’ve built.
It doesn’t tell you how much body fat you’ve lost.
And it definitely doesn’t tell you how much healthier you are.
Progress isn’t always measured in pounds lost.

If you’ve been frustrated because the scale isn’t changing, keep going. Your body may be changing more than you realize.
