Announcing a coffee hour with Senator John Damoose June 1st 2026.

Senator John Damoose will be here at the library on Monday, June 1st, at 11:00am for a community coffee hour, an informal discussion opportunity with constituents. Senator Damoose holds office hours and coffee hours across the 37th District, saying they "are a real reminder that our job at its core is to represent the people in our district. Truth be told, this is where so many of the best ideas come from."

Coffee Hour with the Senator will be held in the Neuss Room, part of our lower level Center for Community Programs. The lower level is fully accessible by elevator as well as stairs, and is equipped with a full suite of restrooms. The event is open to the public, with no cost or registration to attend.

Be part of the democratic process and speak with your elected representative. We are pleased to host this opportunity for civic engagement.

We are having a Yard & Bake Sale on May 29th & 30th at 1320 West State Street.

Donations are also welcome (please no clothing or TVs). Items can be dropped off at SAS Monday through Friday from 8-3. If you have any questions, please feel free to call 627.4319.

With the Cheboygan Schools on spring break I will be communicating with SRR in the morning on road conditions. Please check our facebook in the morning for any cancellations due the icy roads. We want everyone to stay safe.
