Venture Forthe is excited to celebrate love, community, and authenticity at the Pride Parade on June 7, 2026! Meet us at the Buffalo State parking lot at 11:00 AM and come walk alongside the VFI team as we celebrate this year’s theme: “Rooted in Pride.” 💜🌈

This is an open community event — everyone is welcome to attend, cheer on the parade, or walk with us! Whether you’re volunteering your time or simply coming out to support, we’d love to see you there!

Looking for a fun, active, and social way to spend your day? Come out and enjoy this free community event!

The 22nd Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park will be happening on Thursday, June 4th at Veterans' Memorial Park in Niagara Falls! Registration begins at 10:00am with activities running until 1:00pm.

Valley Vista Apartments serves as a senior and income-eligible housing community, providing residents with a safe and supportive place to call home. Through collaboration with their dedicated service coordinator, Pammesha Williams, Venture Forthe was able to host an engaging in-service event for residents.

The event was a great success—creating meaningful connections, sharing valuable resources, and generating new referrals. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work together and look forward to continuing to support the Valley Vista community! 💙

Outreach Coordinator, Freddy recently had the opportunity to attend an insightful event at Person Centered Housing Options on April 23rd, 2026. This event focused on understanding homelessness and exploring meaningful ways we can support those in need.

We're proud to highlight our recent community partnership with Meals on Wheels of Eastern Onondaga!

Through our involvement with the Community Living Advocates (CLA), we had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible impact this organization has every day. Providing meals to over 200 homes daily, their dedicated volunteers ensure seniors and individuals who are chronically ill or recovering from illness receive not only nourishment, but connection and care.

Hearing directly from volunteers and leadership reinforced just how meaningful this work is, and how vital strong community partnerships are in supporting independent living.

On the first Wednesday of each month, our Nevada Administrator, Cynthia has the privilege of leading craft sessions with residents at Avamere Assisted Living. This month, residents created beautiful hanging botanical art to brighten their rooms and celebrate self-expression! The smiles, conversations, and creativity shared throughout the afternoon made it a truly memorable experience! 🌼🎨
