Venture Forthe proudly joined thousands of community members at the 2026 Buffalo Pride Parade to help kick off Pride Month. Events like Pride create opportunities for connection, visibility, and belonging—values that are essential to building inclusive communities where everyone can thrive.

For many individuals and families, seeing organizations, neighbors, and local businesses come together in support sends a powerful message: you are welcome here, you are valued, and you belong.

We are grateful to stand alongside our community in celebrating diversity, promoting inclusion, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community—not just during Pride Month, but throughout the year.

🔍 Can you spot Heather? 🔎

It was a bit of a "Where's Waldo?" moment at the 22nd Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park at Veterans Memorial Park! With more than 200 attendees and dozens of vendors sharing valuable information, resources, and community connections, there was plenty to see and do.

Venture Forthe was proud to be part of this wonderful community event, helping connect seniors and families with resources that support independence, health, and quality of life.

Today we raise awareness, promote dignity, and stand against the abuse and mistreatment of seniors everywhere. Every person deserves to feel safe, respected, valued, and heard at every stage of life.

Elder abuse can take many forms and too often it goes unnoticed. By checking in on loved ones, listening with compassion, and speaking up when something feels wrong, we can help create safer, stronger communities for everyone.

Last month, our team expanded its knowledge and skills in community health and safety.

We are proud to share that Cynthia Knight, Administrator of Nevada, recently completed the Southern Nevada Health District's "Train the Trainer" program and is now certified to provide education on overdose recognition and emergency response using Naloxone (Narcan).

Accidental overdoses continue to impact families and communities across the country. By increasing awareness and providing education, we can help individuals recognize emergencies, respond appropriately, and potentially save lives.

At Venture Forthe, we believe that education empowers communities and supports healthier, safer outcomes for everyone. 💙

That's why Venture Forthe is proud to participate in the upcoming community resource event at the Resource Council of WNY on June 11th. As a provider of home care services, we understand how important it is for people to have access not only to quality care, but also to community resources that help meet everyday needs.
