Elemi comes from Canarium luzonicum, a towering evergreen tree native to the Philippines. It's sometimes called the "pili tree," and surprise — it's in the exact same resin-producing plant family (Burseraceae) as frankincense and myrrh. Same family tree, same resin magic, wildly different level of fame.

Our Elemi is sourced from a partner farm in the Bicol region of the Philippines — a relationship built on Seed to Seal® standards from the very first incision to the final bottle. We helped the farm build its own on-site distillery, which means the oil is distilled close to where it's harvested and supports the local Filipino community that grows it.
