In my last post, episode 1 of “Notes from the Arena” I shared that I’ll be sharing behind the scenes of my business evolution, and that the Perfectionist part of me is terrified to show the mess. This is what I’ve learned from multiple business pivots at this point, being in the middle of my biggest - your ego has to be willing to take a hit and have tools to work through the subconscious resistance that will inevitably show up. It might mean learning a completely new skill - beginning as a beginner, or looking closely at your business decisions and getting honest with yourself about what’s working, what’s not, and making conscious choices to break patterns if they are not serving you.
This is the part no one talks about. Most business owners just want you to celebrate them once the reinvention is done, and they have the receipts to prove it. I don’t blame them - that sounds way safer. But I have the subconscious tools to stay with myself through this process and capacity to face the fear.
