Assisted Living Services, Inc. is a statewide provider of home-care services based in Meriden, Connecticut with branch locations in Clinton and Glastonbury, with expansion for other offices planned. Established in 1996, the company has over 350 employees.

By 2010, Assisted Living Home Care Services had grown into one of Connecticut's most trusted home care agencies. But Ron and Sharon kept thinking about the hours a caregiver couldn't cover.

The nights. The moments a family member, miles away, had no way of knowing if their loved one was okay.

So they built something for it.

Assisted Living Technologies launched that year: a sister company built on the idea that home care and home safety should work together, not separately.

"We built a technology company because we believed home care and home safety should work together. The caregiving doesn't stop when the caregiver leaves."

What started with a handful of Connecticut families has grown into thousands of subscribers across Connecticut and Massachusetts. Still family-owned. Still built around the same belief Sharon had in 1996.
