Our Annual Anytime Care Euchre Fundraiser is coming up, and we can't wait to see everyone for a fun night supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer's!

📅 Saturday, November 7
📍 Lempke-Blackwell VFW Hall – Chesterfield
🕠 Check-In: 5:30 PM
🍽️ Dinner: 6:00 PM
🃏 Euchre Begins: 7:00 PM

💵 $35 includes dinner and Euchre
🍽️ Dinner-only option also available

We'll have plenty of fun throughout the night, including:
🎟️ 50/50 raffle
🎁 Prize baskets
🍿 Snacks & drinks
🃏 Friendly Euchre competition
💜 And lots of fun for a great cause!

Don't forget to wear PURPLE! 💜 We're asking everyone to show their support for the Walk to End Alzheimer's by wearing their favorite purple shirt, accessories, or anything else that shows your support.

For many families, this can be one of the hardest conversations to have.

If you've noticed changes in your loved one's daily routine, it's natural to want to help—but it's also natural for them to worry that accepting help means losing their independence.

Here are a few tips that can make the conversation a little easier:

💬 Start the conversation early. Don't wait for a crisis. Talking before help is urgently needed gives everyone more time to explore options together.

❤️ Focus on their goals. Instead of talking about what they can't do, ask what they want to keep doing. Staying in their own home? Attending church? Visiting friends? Home care can help support those goals.

👂 Listen more than you speak. Give your loved one the opportunity to share their concerns, fears, and preferences. Feeling heard can make all the difference.
