The public needs to be made aware of the dangers and side effects written in this article! If you are taking Prevagen… Or a generic brand… I would advise you to please read this and speak with your personal physician.
I am currently experiencing numerous adverse side effects from the generic brand:
Swelling, severe headaches, and all of my bloodwork got out of whack! Never had kidney problems but after 5 weeks of taking it , my bloodwork showed I was in possible stage 3 chronic kidney disease among other issues…I have been off of prevagen for about 3 weeks now.
My ankle was swollen and so painful I finally went to the hospital yesterday May 11..After doing bloodwork again, PTL all bloodwork was totally back to normal!!! I still have the swollen ankle and pain… not sure when that will subside:(
Trying to keep someone else from going thru what I have suffered! My Mom suffered with Alzheimer’s for about 12 years so out of the fear of inheriting it I decided it was maybe a good idea to take the supplement as a preventative measure….
What a huge mistake!
Research the history behind this supplement!!! You will be shocked! Can’t believe I didn’t research it before taking it! Commercials can be deceiving:(
