Both can be true.

Confession: I’ve missed a lot of Mondays lately.

Not because I don’t care. Not because I’ve fallen off track. Just because life happens.

And you know what? My progress kept moving forward.

Your body doesn’t know it’s Monday. It doesn’t know it’s the start of a new week. It only knows the habits you repeat over time.

One missed workout won’t ruin your results. One missed day won’t ruin your results.

What matters is getting back to it and continuing to show up.

You don’t need another meal plan.
You don’t need more nutrition podcasts.
More macro calculators.
More fitness influencers.
More “motivation.”

You likely already know what to do. The real challenge starts when life gets messy.

When work runs late.
When the kids need something.
When travel happens.
When stress is high.
When the workout isn’t perfect.
When the meal isn’t ideal.

That’s where progress is won or lost. Not because you lack knowledge.

Because perfection feels safer than inconsistency.

So instead of doing the next best thing, many people do nothing at all.

The clients who succeed long-term aren’t the ones who execute perfectly. They’re the ones who can execute imperfectly for a very long time.

One workout instead of none.
A protein-focused meal instead of a “cheat day.”
A short walk instead of skipping movement completely.
Getting back on track at the next meal instead of next Monday.

Perfection is fragile. Consistency is resilient. Buy into imperfect consistency. That’s where the results live.

At some point, “eating less” got confused with “doing better.”

So now a lot of people feel anxiety around eating enough food, but feel accomplished when they’re running on fumes.

That’s not body awareness.

That’s conditioning.

There’s a difference between eating intentionally and chronically under-fueling yourself.
