This week's theme is our Community Heroes Market! ❤️🇺🇸

We're celebrating the everyday heroes who serve, educate, care for, protect, and strengthen our community. As a small token of appreciation, eligible community heroes can show their badge, work ID, or school identification to receive special discounts and offers from participating vendors throughout the market.

We've posted the recipe and the vendors to purchase your items, so grab your reusable grocery bags and shop with our Farmers Market vendors for the fresh ingredients you'll need to create this delicious Labor Day weekend meal. From locally grown sweet corn and peppers to locally raised beef, fresh salsa, tortillas, and cheese, you'll find many of the ingredients right at the market while supporting local farmers, ranchers, bakers, and makers.

We’re pretty proud of one of our own!

Our board member, Bob Moen, was recently nominated for the 2026 Cowboy Kindness Award and was selected as one of the Top 4 finalists in the entire state of Wyoming!

If you know Bob, you probably aren’t surprised. Bob is one of those people who is always willing to lend a hand and give his time to help others. He volunteers with St. Joseph’s Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, Kiwanis, the Chamber of Commerce, and several other organizations throughout our community.

Thankfully, he also shares that same commitment to service with us here at Community Action of Laramie County as a member of our Board of Directors.

Being named one of the Top 4 finalists in Wyoming is a pretty incredible recognition of the time, energy, and kindness Bob gives to our community.

Congratulations, Bob! We’re grateful for all you do and proud to have you as part of the CALC family. You are a great example of what Cowboy Kindness is all about.

Wow, what an incredible day at the Cheyenne Farmers Market! Happy customers, vendors with big smiles, and the kind of energy that reminds us why we love Saturdays.

What a DAY at the farmers market! The crowds have been amazing, vendors are glowing, and the tables are looking delicious.
