Not so much clearing everything out, but helping a space settle after it’s been through something. Taking some of the edge off. Making room for things to feel a little lighter and more balanced again.

There’s something really gentle about this one. Not fragile, just quiet and steady.

I absolutely had to share this. 🖤

Watching one of my pieces leave the workshop is one thing. Getting to see the other side of that journey is something else entirely.

She did such a beautiful job sharing the whole experience of opening Rooted Ember, right down to the smallest details I tuck into every package. I was honestly a little blown away watching it.

Thank you so much, Amanda, for taking the time to create this and for giving Rooted Ember such a wonderful welcome into its new home.

UPDATE: We have a winner! 🎉

Yesterday was a pretty stressful day, and somewhere in the middle of it all, I happened to look down at my odometer.

77,777.0.

Seven has always felt like a lucky number, and seeing all those sevens right then felt like one of those little signs that says “Hey. Everything is going to be okay.”

And my very next thought was… well, obviously 7 has to be the winning number. Apparently yesterday was just the day of sevens.

So congratulations to Jax H. You were #7, on the sign up sheet! Let's get working on your custom mini besom. 🖤

And thank you to everyone who played along. This silly little game turned out to be exactly the bright spot I needed yesterday.

If you haven’t been to Elevated Metaphysical yet, put it on your list. This shop is seriously cool and packed with beautiful crystals, incense, jewelry and all kinds of treasures worth getting lost in for a while.

I had a plan for this broom.
Signal did not care.

She changed her handle.
She changed her binding.
She changed the way I thought the broomcorn should look.

More than once, I found myself standing there thinking, Nope. That's not it.

So I stopped trying to make her become the broom I had pictured and started paying attention to the one that was actually taking shape.

Which is a little obnoxious, considering Signal was created around intuition, divination, and recognizing what asks to be noticed.

I suppose she had been telling me exactly what she was about all along.
