Many men ask whether supplements can improve symptoms related to prostate inflammation or an enlarged prostate. In this video, Franciscan Health urologist Robert Korsch, DO, discusses several commonly used prostate supplements and the evidence behind them.

Dr. Korsch explains how supplements such as quercetin may help some men with prostatitis symptoms and reviews other popular options including saw palmetto, pumpkin seed oil, and African plum tree extract. He also discusses the ongoing debate surrounding these products and why FDA-approved prescription medications often have stronger clinical evidence supporting their use.

If you're considering supplements for prostate health, this video can help you have a more informed conversation with your healthcare provider.

Grief after a su***de loss doesn't follow a schedule — and it doesn't end after the funeral. Supporting someone through it means showing up again and again: on the hard anniversaries, the quiet Tuesdays, the birthdays that never get easier.
