Inspiration Thursday
Your words are shaping you
Being a spiritual being having a human experience can be a lot at times.
Our human self has so many feelings, experiences, thoughts, impressions, visions, and memories.
The things that are constant in this human experience are that our light is eternal and that everything in this life is designed to be temporary.
This design is purposeful to support our evolution. If everything stayed the same, we wouldn't feel inspired, want to love deeper, or know how to take care of ourselves, and we would miss so much.
My guides shared with me many years ago that emotions are designed to last 10 minutes, except for grief. Grief has its own process of waves, expressions, and is a testament to the love we shared with whoever or whatever we are grieving.
Our basic emotions fit into this ten-minute time frame.
If we allow ourselves the opportunity to feel the feeling for this time frame, stay present with it, consciously NOT connect it to a pain from our past or a future fear, the feeling will dissipate within us, as it is designed naturally to do.
And then bringing in a practice of gratitude re-aligns us with our soul, our beautiful human self, the Earth, and Creator.
A way to support ourselves in this process is to pay attention to our phraseology, both internally and aloud.
If feelings are temporary, then my words lend themselves to ‘I FEEL’ rather than ‘I AM’. I feel sad, rather than I am sad, etc.
‘I AM’ is the most powerful phrase.
Anything we add to the end of this, our entire being accepts as truth and becomes it.
‘I AM’ is an expression of the Divine, so when we say ‘I AM’, we are acknowledging the Divine Soul within and inviting it to be completely present with our words, and it responds completely.
Words are powerful!
Understanding how we speak to ourselves, to others, to the Universe, and to the Divine is essential.
As in the image below, claim your truths with ‘I AM’ statements, and express your feelings and experiences as ‘I feel,’ so your ‘I AM's’ support you in remembering and living the truth of who you are rather than what you feel, think, or perceive.
How do you want to speak to yourself, express yourself out into the world, and speak to the Universe today?
Let your words reflect the truth of who you are.
Much love,
Donna
