Two ways to do lips this September. The only difference is how much volume you get.

The September Plump Lip Bundle runs all month at all four Chicagoland locations.

$399 gets you 0.5 mL total of qualifying lip filler, a 4-unit wrinkle-relaxer lip flip, and a full-size Lip Plumper to take home. Full size, not a sample.

$598 gets you the same lip flip, the same Lip Plumper, and 1.0 mL total of filler instead. That is $199 more than the $399 tier. Worth reading twice: 1.0 mL on its own is $599, so the bundle comes in at $598 with the lip flip and the Lip Plumper included.

One thing we would rather over-explain than let you guess at: the upgrade moves you to 1.0 mL total. It does not stack 1.0 mL on top of the 0.5 mL.

Starting small? 0.5 mL by itself is $349, so September adds the lip flip and the Lip Plumper for $50 more.

The assumption we hear most often about facial balancing is that it means filler in every area, all at once. It does not. Lily Zelaya, RN, one of the nurse injectors at Express Med Spa, breaks down what she is actually assessing in this video: proportion, profile, where structural support or volume has been lost, and how the features relate to each other. Adding support to the cheek can improve balance through the mid and lower face, and adding projection to the chin can change a side profile in a way people do not anticipate. Temples are the area almost nobody asks about, though volume loss there is what can make the upper face start to look hollow. Sometimes the assessment shows you do not need filler in the spot you were sure about, and the plan shifts to biostimulators, neuromodulators, or skin quality treatments instead. There is a real difference between softening a line and balancing a face, and it is worth understanding before you book anything.

Softening a line addresses one area. Balancing looks at three things together: where volume has been lost, where repeated movement is creating creases, and how well the skin surface reflects light. One of the more practical reasons our Mount Greenwood clients book the August package is that it collapses four appointments into one.

Between work, kids, and everything else, spacing filler, a wrinkle relaxer session, LED, and dermaplaning across several weeks is usually what kills the plan. So Express Med Spa put all four into a single visit: two syringes of filler, 50 units of wrinkle relaxer, one LED light therapy session, and one Peach Fuzz Express dermaplaning for $1,499 through August 31. That is a savings of up to $600 compared to booking each piece on its own.

Not every line on your face comes from muscle movement.

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear is that neurotoxin fixes every wrinkle. It doesn't. Botox and similar neurotoxins work on lines created by actual muscle movement, like forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet. That's a specific job, and it does that job well.

What most people aren't told is that the face changes in other ways as we age. Collagen thins. The fat pads that once kept the face full start to shrink and shift. Even some of the bone support underneath changes shape.

That's usually what's happening when cheeks look flatter than they used to, smile lines look deeper, or small shadows show up around the mouth. Those aren't muscles pulling on skin. That's the support underneath the skin changing.

Filler can be helpful there, and not in the way people fear. Done well, the goal isn't a bigger face or a different face. It's replacing some of the support that's been lost, so things read a little softer and more rested. Results vary, and the right approach depends on your anatomy.
