People say that correction is bad and not normal. 😕 If your tattoo heals unevenly or fades in certain areas, don't rush to blame the artist's skills. 🩹Let's start with the fact that we create tattoos on the skin, which is a protective covering for our body to prevent the entry of pathogens.
Making a tattoo disrupts the integrity of the skin, and the body, in turn, activates its protective mechanism, sending macrophage cells to the 'scene,' which capture foreign pigment and eliminate it from the body. If the pigment particle is small, the macrophage eliminates it; if it's large, it absorbs it and remains in place. 🪡
This is precisely why a tattoo is considered permanent. 💉
During the healing process, some pigment always exits, but if more comes out than necessary, correction is performed. ✨
📢FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE WHETHER CORRECTION IS NEEDED:
1. Line thickness and tattoo placement (thin lines are more prone to correction, and there are areas where pigment tends to fade regardless of the quality of the technique).
2. Proper or improper tattoo care.
3. Individual body characteristics.
🩷It's normal. The most important thing is to follow the artist's recommendations and remember that it's better to do correction than to overwork the tattoo and have it blur. Thin lines can be thickened; overlapped lines should only be blended.✨
