Stop watching ultrasound. Start scanning!

Dr. Rahul Desai is leading the Ultrasound Workshop – Level 1 this December, designed for physicians who want to start using ultrasound in their practice with a solid foundation.

Over two days, attendees work hands-on with a cadaver and an ultrasound machine throughout. The course covers equipment operation, image optimization, proper scanning techniques, and the identification of key anatomical structures, taught by experienced faculty to prepare you to begin using ultrasound in a clinical setting.

Space is limited to 20 participants, and each has their own cadaver and machine. It suits physicians who are new to ultrasound as well as those who want to tighten up their fundamentals, and the focus stays on techniques you can take back to your practice.

The AMIFAS MIS Masters Course Cadaver Seminar is coming up October 2–3 in New Orleans, giving experienced podiatric surgeons another hands-on opportunity to sharpen their minimally invasive surgical skills.

This two-day seminar is built around direct cadaver lab experience, with each attendee working on their own limb in a focused small-group setting. The format provides participants with dedicated time to refine MIS techniques, work through foot and ankle procedures, and learn in ways that go well beyond lecture-based education.

The seminar will also include The Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellow Practical Exam, giving eligible participants the opportunity to demonstrate their surgical knowledge and technical skills.
