Introducing the Dongfang Performing Arts Troupe to the 8/22 Concert! ✨

The Dongfang Performing Arts Troupe shares traditional Chinese forms of performance such as Chinese opera and dance to the masses around the Chicago and Chicagoland areas. From performing for small communities such as public libraries and senior homes, to infamous stages like the Millennium Park Concert Hall, they have reached the hearts of all audiences. Their ability to carry such soul into every form of art is truly something worth admiring in person.

We are proud to announce the Shiyun Children's Choir will be performing at the 8/22 concert alongside other talented performers!✨

It was founded by soprano and music educator Shen Xiaoli. She provides children with an artistic space where they can receive professional vocal training while connecting with Chinese culture, making music more than just a skill, but a way to express oneself. Placing a focus on transforming poetry into something everyone can enjoy, the Shiyun Children's Choir stands on stage proudly sharing the art they practice so passionately.

Let's share this lovely afternoon of performances together!

Not only will we have musicians and singers, but also dancers at the 8/22 concert! Introducing The Qi Dance Feiyang Dance Art Troupe!✨

Founded in 2020 by Liu Ruiqi, a professional dancer and instructor, she cultivated a space that allows youth to learn dance. But not just how to dance, but how to respect the art and share it with the community at a professional level. For the dance troupe, performances are opportunities to connects dancers and audiences through traditional, contemporary, and cultural dance backgrounds.

Come celebrate this momentous year with us and enjoy some amazing performances!

We are proud to invite you to a premium concert experience at the historic Symphony Center and a celebratory gala and dance at the Palmer House to celebrate America's 250th birthday and Alzheimer's Awareness. As the Summer is coming to a close, we would like the congratulate everyone for completing the 2026 Summer Youth Program! 🎉🎊

It was a long and productive 6-weeks, but we did it! Thank you to everyone who attended the Closing Ceremony last Friday. Amazing job to all the students and MAHA staff who took part in making this program happen. We are incredibly proud of you all.

During the 6-week long program, the students learned about various styles of painting, the importance of mental health, practiced life-long skills such as public speaking, as well as explored the Chicago area. Each and every one of them presented their achievements at this Closing Ceremony to demonstrate the skills they learned throughout the Summer, and we could not be more pleased with their work. 🎨

Thank you to Theresa Mah, the 24th District State Representative in Illinois, for attending and speaking valuable words to the attendees. Your presence means very much us and to this program, so we will be sure to take your words of wisdom into the following years to come.
