Regenerate-PD at Rush: A Gene Therapy Study for Parkinson's Disease
This study tests an experimental gene therapy delivered through brain surgery to see if it can slow or change disease progression. We are currently enrolling adults aged 45-75 years old who are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease within the last 4-10 years, have motor fluctuations and take a stable dose of levodopa. Participation in this study involves follow-ups every 3-6 months and will last about 2 years. You will need to travel out of state for some procedures with all travel related costs covered by the study.
