Chicago Family Health Center Chicago Family Health Center (CFHC) offers affordable comprehensive primary, dental and behavioral health services, as well as support programs.

We have six health center locations in South Chicago, Pullman, Roseland, Chicago Lawn and East Side. CFHC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that operates a network of six health center sites in South Chicago, Pullman, East Side, Roseland and Chicago Lawn, as well as a school-based health center at Chicago Vocational Career Academy. CFHC offers high quality, primary health including pediatrics, OB/GYN, and internal medicine. We also offer dental care, behavioral health and support services for the whole family. We accept Medicaid and private insurance and offer a sliding scale discount program based on income to those who are uninsured. Our Mission:
CFHC will promote health through the delivery of quality, accessible primary healthcare that is culturally sensitive, affordable, and responsive to community and individual needs.

🎀 This Mammography Day, don’t put it off!

Women over 40 should talk with their healthcare provider about regular mammograms. Why? 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and mammograms can help detect breast abnormalities early—when treatment may be more successful.

The good news? Most breast lumps are not cancer. In fact, about 60–80% of breast lumps are benign. But it’s important to get any changes or abnormalities checked.

💗 No insurance? The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) at CFHC provides FREE mammograms, breast exams and pelvic exams to eligible women.

🎀 Early detection can make a difference.

When breast cancer is diagnosed while it is still localized to the breast, the 5-year relative survival rate is more than 99%. Regular screening is one of the most reliable ways to find breast cancer early, before symptoms appear.

At Chicago Family Health Center, our Women’s Health services support breast health through:

🩷 Breast cancer screening
🩷 Patient education
🩷 Care coordination and cancer support services

Through the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP), eligible uninsured and underinsured Illinois residents can access free mammograms and breast exams.
