Chicago Family Health Center Chicago Family Health Center (CFHC) offers affordable comprehensive primary, dental and behavioral health services, as well as support programs.

We have six health center locations in South Chicago, Pullman, Roseland, Chicago Lawn and East Side. CFHC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that operates a network of six health center sites in South Chicago, Pullman, East Side, Roseland and Chicago Lawn, as well as a school-based health center at Chicago Vocational Career Academy. CFHC offers high quality, primary health including pediatrics

, OB/GYN, and internal medicine. We also offer dental care, behavioral health and support services for the whole family. We accept Medicaid and private insurance and offer a sliding scale discount program based on income to those who are uninsured. Our Mission:
CFHC will promote health through the delivery of quality, accessible primary healthcare that is culturally sensitive, affordable, and responsive to community and individual needs.

🖤🤱 Black Breastfeeding Week reminds us that every family deserves the support, education, and resources to meet their infant feeding goals, regardless of their ZIP code, income, or background.

Black families often face barriers to breastfeeding, including lack of healthcare access, lactation support, and other services. This contributes to lower breastfeeding rates and highlights the need for greater investment in underserved communities.

At Chicago Family Health Center, we're committed to helping close these gaps. Our Women's Health Services and WIC Program provide personalized prenatal care, breastfeeding education, lactation counseling, nutrition guidance, and ongoing support so parents have the resources they need to give their babies a healthy start.

🎒💙 Our annual Back-to-School Health Fair was another incredible success—and a wonderful way to celebrate National Health Center Week!

More than 1,000 children and their families joined us for an afternoon of health, fun, and community. Families received school physicals, immunizations, and dental checkups, then stayed for the fun!

They enjoyed the music, a petting zoo, free haircuts, games, delicious food, and exciting raffle prizes. We were also thrilled to provide backpacks and school supplies to help students start the new school year ready to succeed.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors including La Rabida Children's Hospital, University of Chicago Medicine, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Quest Diagnostics, Republic Bank of Chicago and LabCorp. We are also grateful for our community partners, volunteers, and staff who made this event possible.
