Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) is a charity that distributes uplifting, handmade cards to Children’s Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. Doctors provide the medicine and CFHK provides hope, joy & magic through our cards. CFHK was founded in 2011 by high school student named Jen Rubino. Jen’s own experiences las a "hospitalized kid", undergoing 20+ surgeries, inspired her t
o start CFHK to help others. While CFHK began as a small, local endeavor, it has gone far beyond. Using CFHK’s guidelines, individuals and groups (schools, companies, teams, etc) across the country, and abroad, donate their time + creativity to make cards and send them to CFHK for distribution. Each card is unique, just like the child or teen who receives it. People of all ages and artistic skill levels can get involved with CFHK and make cards. Students can also earn service hours for making cards for CFHK. In addition to cards, CFHK also provides autographs from our celebrity and athelte supporters such as: Olympians Nastia Liukin, Jon Horton, Danell Leyva, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman & more, MTV Star Lauren Conrad, Actress AnnaSophia Robb, Singers Jesse McCartney & Cody Simpson, and many more.
