Survival mode affects more than your emotions.
When the nervous system stays under prolonged stress, the whole body feels it.
Muscle tension that never fully releases.
Sleep that never feels restful.
Fatigue that does not improve with rest.
Pain that seems to have no clear cause.
A body that forgot how to fully relax.
Over time this starts to feel like just the way things are.
But constant survival mode was never meant to become a permanent way of living.
Awareness is where healing begins to look different. And that is one of the most important conversations in my upcoming book "From Ache to Honor."
