Today I found myself thinking about the person I used to be.

The dreams, the mistakes, the seasons of uncertainty, and all the moments that shaped me along the way.

If I could say one thing to my past self, it would be this:

Thank you.

Not for making everything easy.

But for helping me become who I am today.

Some chapters were never meant to be permanent.

They were meant to teach.

And perhaps that is enough.

I carry the lessons with me.

And leave space for what is still waiting ahead.

It’s a place where you can be your true authentic self without the fear of judgement, abandonment, or rejection, because they make you feel safe.

It's a special kind of person who will stand beside you through all of life’s highs and lows reminding you that you are never alone in this beautiful but sometimes difficult journey we call life.

When all is said and done, intimacy is really about your heart feeling safe.
