June is Uterine Cancer Awareness Month.

Uterine/endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic cancer in the United States, yet many women don't know the signs or realize that symptoms such as abnormal bleeding may be a reason to talk with a healthcare provider.

The good news? Uterine cancer often presents with noticeable symptoms, creating opportunities for earlier detection and treatment.

This month, we're sharing information, resources, and real stories to help women recognize symptoms, trust their bodies, and start important conversations about their health.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, and screening is one of the most powerful tools we have. 💜

New cervical cancer screening guidelines supported by SGO, in partnership with ASCCP, give people more options for screening, including:
• Pap testing
• HPV testing
• Co-testing
• Self-collected HPV testing

These guidelines apply to everyone who has a cervix, even if you feel healthy and have no symptoms.

Talk with your healthcare provider about which screening option is right for you. Then remind someone you love to do the same.

Organized in support of the Foundation for Women’s Cancer’s campaign by George Ericsson and friends, this annual event honors the life and legacy of his wife, Wendy Ericsson, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2020.

Through their continued efforts, Wendy’s Warriors keeps her memory alive while raising awareness and support for the ovarian cancer community.

This year’s event raised over $1,000, reflecting the group’s ongoing commitment to making an impact and supporting women affected by gynecologic cancers.

Reflecting back on the SGO 2026 Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer in Puerto Rico, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer hosted a Poster Walk & Coffee Chat that brought together presenters, patients, survivors, and advocates for thoughtful, patient-centered conversations.

Mental health matters at every stage of the gynecologic cancer journey. 💜

A diagnosis impacts more than the body. It can affect emotional well-being, relationships, identity, and daily life. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminding patients, survivors, advocates, healthcare providers, caregivers, and loved ones that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Whether it’s through community, counseling, rest, movement, or simply being heard, no one should navigate gynecologic cancer alone.

You are seen. You are supported. And your mental health matters, too.

The 22nd Annual Dance Works Fundraiser Showcase brought together dancers, performers, and supporters for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to making a difference through movement and community. ✨💃

Held on March 15 in support of the Foundation for Women’s Cancer campaign, the event highlighted the power of the arts to raise awareness for gynecologic cancers while supporting research and education initiatives.

Through 22 years of fundraising efforts, Dance Works has raised more than $114,000 for charitable causes, continuing its longstanding commitment to giving back through dance. This year’s event raised $6,275 and once again demonstrated how communities can come together to move the mission forward and support women impacted by gynecologic cancer.
