Footco Orthopedic Custom Orthoses and Video Gait Analysis, Biomechanics Education Video gait analysis has played a large part in diagnostics.

Footco has been providing clinical services to the Chicagoland area for the past 36 years under the direction of Tim Porcelli, Orthotist, LC Ped. Clinical specialties include orthoses for professional and amateur athletes in addition to people of all ages with lower extremity injuries, neuro-muscular disorders, diabetes, and a variety of other conditions that affect one's ability to stand, walk and/or run. Tim introduced video gait analysis to the orthopedic community in the early 1980s while working with neuro-muscular disorders at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. The technology has improved greatly over the years to allow quick and accurate dynamic assessments. As of 2015, Footco is offering continuing education credit opportunities on a monthly basis. The Lower Extremity Biomechanics Series features theory and practice of lower extremity orthotic alignment. Seminars are 6-8 hour sessions held in Chicago on the near northwest side of town.
