🍷 LADIES NIGHT OPEN POUR Friday, August 7 | 7–8:30 PM Grab your gals and join us for an evening of candle-making, sipping, and unwinding. $35 per person

🌿 GLOW + GROW Sunday, August 16 | 11 AM–1:30 PM We’re partnering with Honey’s Pots & Props for a candle-making + plant therapy experience designed to help you slow down, create, and grow. $55 per person

☀️ ENDLESS SUMMER OPEN POUR Saturday, August 22 | 3–4:30 PM Soak up the last sweetness of summer while creating your own custom-scented candle. Special summer price: $35 per person

Another successful Logan Square Farmers Market 🥦🥕🕯️🫜✨

It’s always a gamble when market season starts. You anticipate weather you can’t control and estimate numbers that might not happen.

Yesterday, even with the air quality you all took home some of our beloved favorites and it means the world to us 🥰

This week I (Jasmine the owner), stayed at the shop and made a ton of candles this week not knowing the air quality was going to be terrible. Now I can plan for weather and the elements, but intense AQI numbers was a totally new one.

Summertime is pretty quiet for candles, so these weekends help carry us through and allow us to keep crafting your favorite products.

We also love that we get to meet all of you lovely people who take pieces of our lovely business home with you.

Another Markets for Makers in the books 🤍

To everyone who stopped by our booth, smelled candles, tested perfumes, picked out gifts, shared kind words, or simply took a moment to chat—thank you. Every purchase, conversation, and smile means more than you know.

Running a small business is one of the most rewarding (and sometimes exhausting!) journeys, and weekends like this remind me exactly why I keep creating. Thank you for supporting handmade, for believing in small businesses, and for allowing Sentient Self to be a small part of your homes and daily rituals.

A huge thank you to Markets for Makers for putting together such an incredible event, and to all of the amazing vendors who make these weekends so inspiring.

What a beautiful Sunday at the Logan Square Farmers Market 🌿💛

We’re still feeling so much gratitude from everyone who stopped by our booth this weekend. From familiar faces to new ones discovering us for the first time we want to thank you for taking a moment out of your day to connect, smell, chat, and support what we’re building.

Days like this remind us why we do what we do. Every candle poured, every diffuser packed, every early morning setup… it all leads to moments like these with amazing shared energy, good conversations, and a community that keeps growing.
