Blue Witch by Laura González Rev. Laura González is a Spiritual & Community Healer, Priestess, and Minister who utilizes her intuitive gifts in her work.

Laura González is a Pagan priestess, spiritual and community healer, writer, podcaster, social justice and religious freedom activist, priestess of the Goddess, and minister of Circle Sanctuary She practices Traditional Mexican Folk Magic, Native Philosophies, and North American Paganism within the Goddess tradition. Laura holds the role of Ixtlamatketl for Kalpulli Xinachtli Xochikalli, a Chicago

-based community practicing the Nahua Tradition of Mexico, where she provides guidance and supports community harmony. Her community activism is deeply intertwined with her spiritual practice. Laura advocates for Indigenous, Pagan, and LGBTQIA communities, and is passionate about women’s rights, suicide prevention, and diversity inclusion. Laura has co-edited the e-zine El Caldero and has contributed articles to Circle Sanctuary Magazine. Her written collaborations appear in several notable books, including:

In her community, Laura serves as a resident Bruja (healer) and volunteers as an ESL teacher at the Aquinas Literacy Center. She is also a popular podcaster and producer of Lunatic Mondays and Paganos del Mundo, and manages Circle Sanctuary Network Podcasts.

Drawing from the wisdom of Feminist Witchcraft, Mexican Full Moon Brujería, and the Indigenous presence of Chalchiuhtlicue , this recurring ceremony invites us into a sacred relationship with Water as healer, witness, and ancient memory.
Each Full Moon, we will enter the waters with intention—cleansing what has become heavy, listening for what is ready to emerge, and honoring the wisdom carried within our bodies, our ancestors, and the living Earth.
Come as you are. Bring what you are ready to release, and leave with what the waters choose to return to you.

This month we journey into the teachings of Tezcatlipoca, whose mirror reveals not only what we wish to see, but what we are called to become. Through conversation, study, celebration, and embodied practice, we explore the wisdom found in darkness, balance, healing, and the courage to face ourselves with honesty.

Together we decolonize our understanding of one of the most misunderstood Teteoh, welcome author Wendy Mata to Lunatic Mondays, gather to celebrate the Fall Equinox as the Wheel turns toward autumn, and conclude the month by embodying the sacred relationship between Tlazolteotl and Tezcatlipoca.
