Great info to keep our children safe

Sweater weather is officially here, and that means one more thing to check before you buckle up: removing the bulky coat before buckling the car seat. A thick coat can compress in a crash, leaving the harness too loose to do its job. Buckle and secure the harness first, then you can add the coat over the top or use it as a blanket instead. This small move can make a big difference in how well the harness can protect your rider.

🚨 CPR MYTH vs. FACT 🚨

❌ MYTH: “I’m not trained, so I shouldn’t try CPR.”

✅ FACT: If someone suddenly collapses and isn’t breathing normally, taking action can help save their life.

You don’t have to be perfect. You need to recognize the emergency, call 911, start CPR, and use an AED if one is available.

That’s exactly why we practice. 💪❤️
