Hey y’all are you ready to be an early birdy and start your day with intention and nervous system regulation?

What better way to start your day than regulating your nervous system while watching the sun rise over the lake?
So what is EFT Tapping?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a practice that combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with guided intention. It helps calm the body, process emotions, and bring you back into balance.
Benefits of EFT Tapping:
• Reduces stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
• Supports emotional release + processing
• Helps regulate the nervous system
• Improves focus and clarity
• Creates a sense of grounding and calm

We’ll be meeting at Fullerton Beach. I recommend parking by the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (free parking), then walking over to the beach under the bridge.
Thanks to Pie, I’ll send updates and the exact location once we arrive—so keep an eye out.
And honestly… just look for a group sitting by the water watching the sunrise—that’s probably us haha :)

What to bring:
• Water
• Maybe a journal
• Intentions in mind
• A swimsuit
Depending on the weather, we might jump in the lake afterward. We usually don’t take longer than 30 minutes, but plan for about an hour in case we want to walk the beach, dip our toes or go all in 🌊

WOW ✨ We had such a lovely and intimate Matcha Tea Ceremony & Sound Healing Journey today. 🥹💖

A huge thank you to Airi for sharing her knowledge and guiding us through the rich history of matcha…where these ceremonies originated, how they evolved, and why matcha became such an important part of tea culture. 🙏🏽

I learned so many fascinating things today. One of my favorite fun facts was that samurai would often drink matcha and participate in tea ceremonies after battle as a way to return to presence, reflection, and ritual. Another fun fact I loved learning was that matcha actually originated in China before making its way to Japan, where it became deeply woven into Japanese tea ceremony traditions. 🍵

I loved learning about the intention behind preparing and drinking matcha, the benefits of slowing down to enjoy it on its own, and how creating it can become a beautiful meditative ritual. We also had the pleasure of enjoying some of Airi’s favorite seasonal Japanese treats alongside our tea, which made the experience even more sweet! ❣️

Afterward, I was grateful to offer a sound healing journey to deepen the sense of stillness, grounding, and release we had already cultivated together.

So thankful for this collaboration and the opportunity to bring together two of my favorite things: mindful tea rituals and sound healing. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in this beautiful afternoon. 💚✨

Hey y’all! I took an incredible pelvic health course this past weekend through and got to learn from so many amazing teachers — , a pelvic floor physical therapist and Postural Restoration certified practitioner, as well as Donna from and , both physical therapists, Pilates instructors, and Postural Restoration certified.
We explored the asymmetrical pelvis, the diaphragm, conditions pregnant and postpartum women may experience, and in general what can happen when the pelvic floor becomes too tight or imbalanced. We learned so many different applications on how to help rebalance the body from the inside out and how important airflow, breathing mechanics, and pressure systems are in this process.

I’m feeling deeply inspired and excited to continue integrating this work into my sessions and classes over the coming weeks. Pilates classes definitely just leveled up :) Movement truly is medicine. ⚡️⚡️

Join us for an intentional evening of ritual, presence, and connection.
We’re honored to welcome Airi a Japanese matcha educator, who will guide us through an authentic, hands-on matcha tea ceremony rooted in tradition. This is more than just drinking matcha—it is an invitation to slow down, engage your senses, and experience the cultural depth behind the practice. 🍵

Each guest will prepare their own matcha using traditional tools provided by Airi, learning the mindful steps that transform this into a meditative ritual.

Because this experience is hands-on, space is limited to keep the environment intimate and supportive.
We will close the evening with a grounding sound healing journey, allowing the stillness and calm cultivated during the ceremony to fully land in the body and nervous system.

Airi is a Japanese matcha educator who shares authentic matcha practices and cultural experiences in Chicago. Her work invites others to slow down, connect, and deepen their appreciation for matcha beyond trends.
