‼️ TRAFFIC ADVISORY DUE TO FLASH FLOODING ‼️

Several roads in Chickasha have been impacted by flash flooding and are closed due to rising water. Our Emergency Management office strongly encourages citizens to limit unnecessary travel until conditions improve. If you must get out, please use caution, avoid flooded roadways, and follow all posted road closures and traffic restrictions.

As of 9 a.m., the following roads are closed:
• Minnesota from 2nd Street to Shepherd
• 1st Street from Dakota to Ada Sipuel
• The intersection of 16th & Missouri
• Iowa between 4th & 5th Streets

Please note: additional roads could be closed with no notice. Public Works is actively responding to flooding concerns throughout the City and will continue to address impacted areas as conditions allow.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation. Stay safe, and remember: turn around, don't drown.
