☀️It’s going to be HOT this week☀️

With heat index values expected to top 100°F, here are a few simple ways to stay safe:

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🕶️ Wear lightweight clothing and light-colored clothing.
🌳 Spend time in air-conditioned places or shade whenever you can.
⏰ If you're outside, take frequent breaks and try to limit or avoid activities during the hottest part of the day.
🧴Don’t forget sunscreen to protect your skin. Reapply often.
🚙 Never leave children or pets in a parked car, even for a minute.
❤️ Check in on elderly family members, neighbors, and friends to make sure they're staying cool and hydrated.

If you start feeling dizzy, weak, nauseated, or have a headache, get to a cool place, drink water, and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen. Let's all look out for one another and stay safe during this heat!💙
