One of our favorite corners at Branch. 🌿

These magnetic letters are a gift from the young men that were in the Life Exploration Program at Pioneer Center / Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities after working together on life & job skills at Paper City Coffee (which I co-own!). The gift itself came from The Sweetbriar Collective, owned by my dear friend Ashley — whose pieces we use at Branch & love!

Emily, who leads the program, was one of my clinical instructors in college and has been a mentor ever since. Profession, friends, mentors, businesses — all wrapped into one sweet moment. Full circle moments of collaboration like this fill my heart. 🌿

Bonus: I love watching kids add their own personal touches to this board every visit 😂

Letter Roots is here! ✏️

After 6 years as a school-based OT helping kids build handwriting skills, I’m excited to bring that experience into this small-group handwriting course!

A fun, hands-on approach to building confidence, legibility, and strong handwriting foundations—without the frustration AND that’s actually age appropriate for their development.

UPDATE on remaining spots left for our shoe-tying class this Thursday!

Your child does not need to have laced shoes to participate in this class, but we believe this is such an important skill for kids to know how to do & practice.

If you’ve been trying & your child doesn’t want to learn from you—let us give it a shot! 👍🏻
