Also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), they are located in areas where care is needed but scarce, and improve access to care for millions of Americans regardless of their insurance status.

Northwest Health Services was honored to be part of the Overdose Awareness Event on August 31, coming together with our community to remember those we have lost, support those in recovery, and raise awareness about resources that can help save lives.

Our team was proud to share information about the services available through Northwest Health Services, including primary care, behavioral health, substance use treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), recovery support, and preventive healthcare.🩺

We believe everyone deserves compassionate, judgment-free care and the opportunity to take the next step toward better health and recovery. 💜

💜Monday, August 31, 2026, marks the 25th observance of National Overdose Awareness Day.💜
Overdose continues to impact individuals, families, and communities across the country. Behind every statistic is a person whose life matters and loved ones who continue to feel their loss.

The good news is that overdose is preventable. By increasing awareness, reducing stigma, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another with compassion and respect, we can help save lives and strengthen our communities.

In recognition of National Overdose Awareness Day, we invite you to wear purple today to honor those who have been affected by overdose and to show support for prevention, recovery, and hope.

While this day remains an important reminder, it also serves as a call to action. Together, we can work toward a future where fewer lives are lost to overdose.
