Pureland products are derived from 100% natural plant based ingredients which is very important to me! I suffer from chronic pain and insomnia, and have for over 23 years now. Due to these issues, I am forced to take a lot of medication, and these issues have also significantly lowered my immune system, causing me multiple other health related issues as well. Absolutely everything that you put on or in your body absolutely affects the health of your body, and therefore your immune system as well. Even if I didn't have these issues, am still a very health conscious individual, and done to ensure that all the the products that I use are as naturally derived, made from superior ingredients and as health as possible both for me, others and the environment as possible! This Rejuvenate Cleansing Dew contains no sulfates, parabens, artificial fragrance, animal ingredients, or chemicals of any kind. I have very fine hair, and sensitive skin and scalp, so I strive to find products that will not only clean my hair as successfully as possible, but won't irritate my sensituve skin and scalp, causing additional issues I simply can't afford. I love a wonserful smelling shampoo and conditioner, but so many of them are either too hard on my fine hair, weigh my fine haur down taking away all it's natural body, or the scent irritates both skin and scalp, and those that don't have so many chemicals in them that I know they are not good for me and certainly aren't good for the environment! I also color my hair, so my shampoo not only needs to have no parabens and sulfates, but has to be color safe as well. I left this shampoo 4 stars instead of 5 only because I didn't really like the smell of the shampoo, however Pureland does advise you that the scent does change on the product based on the time of year they source the ingredients for the product, so when I repurchase the shampoo, I may like the scent better by purchasing it at a different time of year. Please keep in mind that to get the best use out of the product, you need to ensure that you finish the product within 6 months of opening the bottle, which is definitely doable if you use the shampoo each time you wash your hair, even if you follow the advise of beauty experts and wash your hair every other, to every 3rd day. The bottle is 8.5 oz and the perfect size to fit in your shower or on the ledge of your tub. The bottle is extremely well built and a well made pump is included with a locking mechanism to ensure no inadvertant pumping or loss of the product. The shampoo left my fine hair clean, and shiny and didn't weigh it down or dry it out. I am very pleased with the results of this product!
