Selah Wellness

Selah Wellness I am an RN with a passion for Holistic health and a belief that food is medicine. Reach out with your needs and we can work on a plan together!

At Selah Wellness we are passionate about natural whole person healing, with emphasis on nutrition. Selah means to pause and reflect and that is what I feel we need to do more of when it comes to our wellness journey! Life can be fast paced and overwhelming at times and I am here to help you slow down and tune into your body! Over the past 13 years I have worked as a Nurse and have trained in vari

ous areas of nursing, both holistic and westernized, which has guided me towards functional nutrition. I am amazed by the incredible things our bodies can do when nourished properly. My entire life I have been drawn to children and focusing on how to help them thrive. I have worked as a nanny as well as in childcare facilities and pediatric nursing. I believe that if we can help our children develop healthy habits at a young age, it will last their lifetime! Alongside elevated nutritional practices there is a great need to focus on spiritual and emotional wellbeing to be able to flourish. Wellness is truly a rounded experience that takes experimenting with multiple modalities to understand the needs of your body. We know that there is not a one size fits all to wellness and are eager to guide you on your journey! A little about me personally-
I reside in the Chisago Lakes area with my family. In my free time I enjoy trying new recipes and engaging my teenagers in the kitchen so they can play and experiment. My kids and I love to take our Miniature Australian Shepard (Winnie) on adventures. We enjoy hiking in the local parks as well as exploring new restaurants and farmers markets around the area. Small town living is so special, and we feel very grateful to live in such a beautiful place! Services-
Personalized nutrition planning (Adults/teens/kids)
Wellness retreats for teens- Day retreats/weekend retreats (watch page for posted events)
Play in the kitchen with kiddos (any age)- Teaching kids/Teens that food can be fun and exciting and should be explored.

We need to normalize kids in the kitchen. Does it take a little longer to prepare the meal? Absolutely, it does, but it is so worth it. Being able to watch a kiddo that is nervous to try new foods experience new flavors is priceless. To see how proud they are when they create something delicious and can share with their family is something so special! Yesterday while the weather turned cold we decided to play with all the spices in the kitchen. Smelling and tasting them was kind of like a game! The bonus is that we now know what his palate prefers and we can create more to align with his tastes also! Successful Sunday!
