Sometimes the space itself becomes the teaching.

One afternoon, I walked into the community room where we gather for yoga -- and the walls were adorned with art made by the very students I have the privilege of practicing with.

There is something quietly profound about what happens when we tend to a space. When we hang something meaningful on the wall, arrange the chairs just so, or bring in color and care, we are already practicing. We are telling ourselves: *this place matters. I matter here.*

In yoga, we talk about creating a container for practice. But sometimes the students teach the teacher. Seeing the pride in their faces as they showed me their work reminded me that adorning our space is not decoration, it is devotion. It is the outer expression of an inner yes.

Whether your practice space is a studio, a community room, a kitchen chair, or a corner of your living room -- I hope it holds something that makes you feel welcome in your own life.

Thank you to these beautiful, creative souls for reminding me why this work matters. 🌿

Chair yoga isn't a modified version of "real" yoga. It's a direct response to how differently we all move through the world.

A kid trying to regulate big feelings at a school desk. An adult sitting through back-to-back meetings with a body that's begging for movement. Someone navigating a disability where a mat on the floor was never the plan.

Chair yoga meets all three without asking anyone to change their circumstances first. The chair isn't a limitation we're working around. It's the access point. It meets you exactly where you are and asks you to notice your breath, your body, your own small shifts, nothing more.

Curious where chair yoga could fit into your Tuesday? Sit with us this month and experience the benefits firsthand. New On-Demand uploads every month, and live virtual classes available every week.

This is what Visions Incorporated looks like when it expands beyond the mat -- and into the workplace.

Tammy Felhandler first came to Lindsay as a personal client, looking for mindful movement she could actually fit into her life. What started as a one-on-one practice grew into something bigger: Tammy bringing the benefits of yoga and breathwork directly to her colleagues through workplace wellness.

That's the thing about this practice. When it lands for you, you want to share it.

Workplace wellness isn't a trend -- it's a recognition that the people showing up to work every day deserve the same care and presence we offer ourselves on the mat. Stress relief. Grounded breathing. A moment to actually arrive before the next meeting begins.

If you're looking for accessible, meaningful movement experiences for your team or workplace community, Lindsay brings the same warmth and expertise she offers every student—right to where you are.

Yoga isn’t about getting it ‘right.’

It’s about being together.

One of my favorite things about teaching Alzheimer’s-friendly chair yoga is that the “little” moments are often the ones that stay with me.

Today, I got a little moment with each of my four students that felt like it needed a permanent spot on the grid❤️

This is what I’m reminded of again and again: yoga doesn’t have to look perfect to be meaningful. It doesn’t require perfect memory, perfect coordination, or even following the instructions exactly as given.

Sometimes yoga is simply showing up.
Sometimes it’s a smile.
Sometimes it’s remembering one little thing.

I’ll take all of it.

This is why I teach 💕

New month, pajamas, no pressure…

This morning it was “Leave Behind, Move Forward” from the on-demand library 🧘🏻 I picked it straight out of bed, still in my pjs, because I know this new season is asking a lot from me.

No big transitions, no pressure to feel ready. Just breath, a little movement, and setting down whatever August left behind before September asks anything more.

That’s the thing about the library; 100+ recordings and so many are 20 minutes or less, so “I don’t have time” almost never holds up as an excuse. Some days you want a full practice. Some days you want exactly this: pajamas, ten minutes, and permission to start slow.
New month, new mat time. Come find your practice next to me 🤍

How is it already September? It feels like summer just blinked right by. As with every transition into a new month, I'm feeling called to pause and reflect on the doors that are opening and closing with the passing of time.

Here are a few journal prompts to help you start your September with intention. There's no right or wrong way to answer. All you need is a quiet moment, a pen, and a willingness to listen to yourself with gentle curiosity.

Save this post and revisit it whenever you need a quiet reset. For more materials designed to invite reflection, check out my blog on Substack.🌿

As this month comes to a close, take a moment to recognize the light you’ve carried all along. ✨

Throughout this month, we’ve explored what it means to be grounded in ourselves and to glow from within. Every breath, every stretch, every small moment of self-care has been a reminder that your worth isn’t something you have to earn—it’s already yours.

As we step into a new month, carry forward the strength you’ve built, the peace you’ve practiced, and the light you’ve rediscovered. 🌟

💭 Before we turn the page, ask yourself: Where have you noticed yourself shining this month?

Thank you for growing with us. We can’t wait to continue the journey together. 💜

🌕✨ Every ending creates space for something new.

A lunar eclipse reminds us that letting go is just as important as beginning.

Release what no longer supports your well-being.
Release expectations that weigh you down.
Release the pressure to have everything figured out.

Instead, create room for rest, clarity, and compassion.

Ask yourself today:
🌙 What am I ready to leave behind?
🌙 What story no longer belongs to me?
🌙 What becomes possible when I make space?

Healing often begins with release.

Take a breath.
Trust the process.
