Peace and love. 🤍
I’m Adraiyna, the owner of CHOCOLATE POTION a LGBTQ black owned business
Imagine being 20 years old and being told you’re banned from the very place where you built your community, created connections, and grew your business. Half of my followers met me at Findlay Market.
The Chairman of Findlay Market Deana Taylor Brewer has filed a Temporary Restraining Order against me. If granted, it could affect my ability to attend school downtown, serve my community, and continue participating in the markets and activities that have been part of my daily life.
This all began after I exercised my First Amendment rights during a public meeting, which now she’s trying to weaponize it as stalking & harassment. Since then, I believe my reputation has continued to be affected.
I refuse to let someone else’s interpretation of my constitutional rights silence my voice or make me question my place in my own community. Free speech should never be treated like a crime simply because someone disagrees with what is being said.
I’ve watched too many small business owners stay quiet out of fear of losing opportunities. I won’t be one of them.
Please continue supporting small and local businesses. So many of us are simply trying to build something meaningful and serve our communities.
On Tuesday June 30 at 9:00 AM, I’ll be at the courthouse in Room 585 at 1000 Main Street for my court order with Deana Taylor Brewer. Please pull up if you have time.
Also, check out the video showing the Chairman of Findlay Market making an obscene gesture by raising her middle finger toward me. I’ll let everyone view the facts and form their own opinions.
I’ll keep everyone updated after court.
Peace and love. 🤍
